Dr. Hawthorne is a graduate of Hampden Sydney College (Magna Cum Laude, Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Omicron Delta Kappa, Phi Beta Kappa). He completed his medical degree at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He finished his residency at Virginia Commonwealth University where he received the David Draper award for top pediatric intern in 2018. He received the Neonatology award in his final year of residency.
Dr. Hawthorne enjoys traveling, good music and good food. He loves spending time with family and friends. Dr. Hawthorne enjoys all sports but loves playing golf and spending time outdoors.
