Tammy Rockwell, BSN, RN, IBCLC. Tammy will be providing one-to-one breastfeeding counseling as well as back-to-work breastfeeding education. She will also be available to answer your general breastfeeding questions by phone.
Tammy has a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She has been a career nurse for 39 years and for the past 19 years as an Internationally Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
She started her career working with moms and babies as a post-partum nurse and discovered a specialized interest in helping families who choose breastfeeding. She is a member of the Virginia Breastfeeding Taskforce, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and is currently pursuing her Masters’ Degree in nursing education.
She enjoys travel, theater and spending time with her three grandchildren.
