Dr. Byram graduated from University of Richmond with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (Minor in Mathematics, Summa Cum Laude, departmental honors, Phi Beta Kappa). She then earned her medical degree from and completed her pediatric residency (primary care track) at The University of Virginia School of Medicine. During residency, she was awarded the Anne L. Brodie Resident Clinician Award for excellence in patient care. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

 Dr. Byram discovered her passion for pediatrics when she first shadowed at RVA Pediatrics during high school and is thrilled to join the RVA family as a pediatrician. She loves developing long-lasting relationships with families and has a special interest in newborn medicine. In her free time, she leads a kids ministry team at her church and enjoys baking, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
