Megan, our Behavioral Health Specialist, joined the RVA Pediatrics team in 2026. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the College of William & Mary and went on to complete her Master of Social Work at Virginia Commonwealth University, bringing a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to the team.

Megan is passionate about helping individuals navigate difficult moments and build resilience. She takes a strengths-based, person-centered, and collaborative approach to care, using evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), play therapy, art therapy, and somatic techniques. She finds it especially meaningful to create a safe, supportive space where patients feel heard, gain confidence, and develop healthier coping skills.

Originally from Fredericksburg, Virginia, Megan has called Richmond home for several years and loves the area’s vibrant community, from local events to the art scene.
