Liz Jones graduated from James Madison University with her Bachelors in Science in 2010.
She started working at RVA Pediatrics in 2013. Through her work with Dr.Terry, she saw the struggle of new nursing moms in those early days and the need for more immediate lactation support. She completed the necessary coursework as well as a 500+ hour mentorship with Tammy Rockwell. Liz obtained IBCLC certification in December 2019. She is an active member of the International Lactation Consultant Association (ILCA).
She enjoys helping moms find individualized breastfeeding routines that work with the family’s needs. She is eager to support mothers in their transition back to work while continuing to reach their breastfeeding goals.
Liz lives in Carytown with her partner, William and their miniature dachshund, Dash and enjoys everything their vibrant neighborhood has to offer.
