Christine Seliskar, MD is a graduate of the University of Virginia where she received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Prior to studying medicine, Dr. Seliskar worked on space projects such as the Mars Pathfinder and Craf Cassini while employed by IBM and Loral Federal Systems Division. She then returned to school and received a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs and her medical degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. She did her pediatric post graduate training at the University of Virginia and started in private practice in 2007.

 She joined RVA Pediatrics in 2019. She is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP).

Dr. Seliskar and her husband John have one son, John William. Dr. Seliskar enjoys being a soccer mom, traveling with her family, and reading.
